Good afternoon James Bay United Church,

I want to remind you of our dinner and movie night tonight.  The movie, Painted Land, has been specially chosen for this week's National Reel Day, celebrating Canadian arts.   The film crew make their way into the places from which the Group of Seven painted much of their work ... so we'll be treated not only to something of the story of the artists, but to the breath-taking scenery as well.  The movie will begin between 6:45 and 7pm with dinner ahead of time.  Bring along a favorite dish to share, and enjoy a meal togther at 6pm.  We'll gather for both events in the hall downstairs.  Enter by way of the patio at the back of the building.

Many thanks to everyone who participated in our Holy Week journey.  Whether it was singing in the choir, reading a passage of scripture, contributing flowers, setting up the "upper room," showing up in the early morning, making and serving breakfast, being present at any point along the way with a whole even hurting heart ... there were many fine dimensions to the week, made all the richer by all who entered into it.

This Sunday we gather at our usual time -- 10:15.  Don't be thinking Easter is over ... this is only day four of the season that stretches out for 50 days!

Grace and Peace, Karen
