DESCRIPTION:Join us for an incredible evening of music featuring two world-
 class guitarists: Aurora Orsini (Rome\, Italy) and Josh Searles (Sunshine 
 Coast\, BC).\nAurora Orsini is a classical guitarist from Rome who has bui
 lt a dynamic career as a touring artist\, performing throughout Europe and
  the Americas. Among her most significant projects are a recent six-city t
 our in Peru — featuring concerts and masterclasses at major universities
  — and her upcoming Canadian tour in 2026\, a new milestone in her expan
 ding international career.\nShe studied in Spain at the University of Alic
 ante with Manuel Barrueco\, David Russell\, Sergio Assad\, and Pablo Márq
 uez. In Italy\, she completed two Master’s degrees in classical guitar\,
  as well as a postgraduate specialization in guitar interpretation\, study
 ing with Giampaolo Bandini\, Stefano Grondona\, and Lorenzo Micheli. She o
 btained her first Master’s degree at the young age of twenty.\nShe has b
 een selected twice to study at the Chigiana Academy with Oscar Ghiglia and
  Eliot Fisk\, where she received the diploma for Best Student of the Year.
  She has also been awarded several scholarships\, including those offered 
 by the Alhambra Guitarras Foundation and the International Guitar Foundati
 on (IGF) of London.\nJosh J. Searles has spent a lifetime honing his craft
  across various genres and instruments. An acclaimed and award-winning cla
 ssical guitarist\, composer\, and DJ\, Searles’ international performanc
 e career began at the young age of 15.\nHe has performed classical guitar 
 in solo concerts and chamber music\, French horn in quartets\, orchestras\
 , and concert bands\, as well as his more avant-garde music: live electron
 ica utilizing outboard synthesizers\, drum machines\, samplers\, computers
 \, and live instruments.\nHis dynamic range has taken him across Canada\, 
 the US\, the UK\, and Spain\, including collaborations with renowned Brazi
 lian guitarist and percussionist Celso Machado. In addition to his prolifi
 c music career\, Searles has contributed scores to films that have premier
 ed at the Vancouver International Film Festival. His work has also been fe
 atured in award-winning shorts such as Ana Valine’s A Love Poem\, which 
 won Best Experimental Film at Videobardo in Buenos Aires. His original com
 positions have also appeared in video productions and short films\, such a
 s Helen Haig-Brown’s Pel’sic (Home Coming).\n\nTickets: $20 at the doo
