 rom Nanaimo\, BC. Active as a freelance guitarist since 2013\, career high
 lights include performances at the Nanaimo Jazz Festival\, Nanaimo Guitar 
 Showcase\, and Island Notes Chamber Music Festival. Jesse recently complet
 ed a masters degree in classical guitar performance at the University of V
 ictoria. Previously\, he completed B. Mus. and B. Ed. degrees at Vancouver
  Island University and a masters degree in jazz performance from the Unive
 rsity of Toronto.\nA finalist in the Northwest Guitar Festival\, Misha Smi
 rnov began studying the guitar at age 10 in Russia\, when he fell in love 
 with the magic of its sound. He is an active local performer who is known
