DESCRIPTION:\n\nAs the Board of James Bay United Church\, we believe it's i
 mportant to pause\, reflect\, and seek discernment about where our church 
 is being called in the years ahead. Board members will be gathering at Bet
 hlehem Centre near Nanaimo from June 5–7 for a retreat\, focused on pray
 er\, discernment\, and planning.\n\n\n\n\nThe retreat is funded through th
 e church budget\; participants will be invited to contribute what they are
  able toward their own costs.\n\n\n\n\nBefore we go\, we want to hear from
  you. On May 24th\, right after the service\, we're inviting all of you to
  a congregational conversation over lunch — please see Bev Tracey to sig
 n up so we know how much food to prepare. If you can't join us in person\,
  an online survey with the same questions is available.\n\n\n\n\nIf you ha
 ve questions\, please speak with Scott Jantzen or any Board member.\n\n
