 chewan but speaks the language of New Orleans through the music of Sidney 
 Bechet and Jimmy Dodds. At the age of 98\, Lloyd has been playing traditio
 nal jazz for more than 70 years — performing professionally\, leading ba
 nds\, and collaborating with some of the finest artists in Canada and arou
 nd the world.\nLloyd also had the distinct honour of welcoming the great L
 ouis Armstrong to Vancouver in the 1960s and has been a favourite of tradi
 tional jazz fans across the West Coast for decades.\nJoin us for this spec
