nd in the sacredness of every human being.\nThe scripture reading and refl
ection will be offered by Diane Monteith. In Diane's own words: \n\n"J. P
hillip Newell’s book is a call for a new vision of our faith in the worl
d — a faith that responds to the yearning of the soul and to the healing
of our relationship with the earth and one another. I invite you into the
journals of Etty Hillesum.\nIn 1941\, Etty Hillesum was a 27-year-old Jew
ish woman in Amsterdam\, who began a journal during the Nazi occupation of
Holland. She recorded her journey of Soul amid the horror of what one peo
ple can do to another and who\, in the middle of such terror\, was witness
to the meaning and even the beauty of life. How did she find meaning amid
the fear and horror of a concentration camp?"\n\n\nPresiding: Anne Manike

________________________________\n\nOur worship each Sunday is intended to
be a collective experience\, a communal practice. We might step into what
ever is our sanctuary\, each one of us as individuals\, and yet as we asse
mble\, from wherever we are\, we become a people\, drawn together through
song and prayer\, through word and ritual\, and through the Spirit who bre
athes through it all\, through us all. One and the same Spirit uniting us
 breathing us into life!\n\nLast Service:\n
