Jank e maintains a busy performing\, composing\, and touring schedule\, working with artists across the globe. In this special project\, he has created a trio bringing together two leading instrumentalists — bassist Scott Whi te and drummer Kelby MacNayr — equally adept at improvisation and standa rd jazz playing\, whose musical breadth and experience span genres and geo graphies.\nScott White is a virtuoso and multi-faceted bassist. He has per formed with many of Canada’s most renowned musicians\, toured much of th e world in various bands\, and acted as music director for a Cirque du Sol eil show in Germany. Scott contributes an enormous diversity of sound to a ny performance and approaches music collaboratively\, with an appetite for discovery.\nKelby MacNayr is a renowned drummer\, composer\, vocalist\, a nd music director who feels blessed every day to be sharing the joy of com munity and music-making. MacNayr has been mentored by some of the finest d rummers in the world\, including Jeff Hamilton\, Ari Hoenig\, Alan Jones\, and Joe La Barbera\, as well as working closely with — and learning fro m — jazz legends such as John Clayton\, Terrell Stafford\, Larry Fuller\ , Louise Rose\, Neil Swainson\, and more.
