 se\, special guest trombonist Brad Shigeta\, jazz organist Dr. Tony Genge\
 , and drummer/vocalist Kelby MacNayr.\nJoin us for a night of swinging jaz
 z\, celebrating the music of Duke Ellington\, Louis Armstrong\, Frank Sina
 tra\, Ella Fitzgerald\, and more — featuring five of Victoria’s most s
 winging jazz musicians!\nArtist bios:\nTrumpeter Daniel Lapp is a much-lov
 ed Victoria music hero — a trumpet player\, fiddle player\, vocalist\, e
 ducator\, and more! A magical musical talent and creative powerhouse\, Dan
 iel shares love and joy through his music.\nClarinetist extraordinaire Al 
 Pease has been swinging up a storm on the “liquorice stick” for over 6
 0 years! At the top of his game — from what we can tell — forever\, Al
  just keeps getting better. Inspired by the great swinging sounds of the l
 egendary Benny Goodman\, he speaks the language of traditional jazz and sw
 ing with a joyful and authentic musical voice.\nTrombonist Brad Shigeta li
 ved for 20 years in Manhattan\, playing with the Count Basie Orchestra\, t
 he legacy band of the Duke Ellington Orchestra\, Wynton Marsalis\, Eddie 
 “Lockjaw” Davis\, and countless others! Now based in Vancouver\, Brad 
 joins us as a special guest\, playing the trombone like only he can.\nJazz
  organist Dr. Tony Genge is renowned across the country as one of our most
  swinging musicians. Equally at home on piano or organ\, Dr. Genge brings 
 his melodic swing to the forefront.\nDrummer and vocalist Kelby MacNayr is
  well loved across North America\, performing with many of the finest name
 s in jazz. A great lover of swing and the magic of the music\, Kelby loves
  the connection between music and community — and is so happy to be play
