A community jam session is an integral part of a healthy jazz ecosystem, and we’re lucky to have visiting saxophonist Connor Stewart in town for a few days. So, we thought we’d create the perfect opportunity for a jam session!

Come and jam with an all-star rhythm section featuring Dr. Tony Genge (piano), bassist Scott White, drummer Kelby MacNayr, and special guest Connor Stewart.

This is an everyone-welcome jam session for both professionals and amateurs!
*Prerequisites: A love of music, a willingness to learn and grow, a sense of humor and adventure, and the practice of kindness toward yourself and others.

We’re lucky to have Connor visiting his hometown for a few days, and all three musicians share a love for playing for—and with—dancers!

This event is a perfect opportunity to rekindle the spirit of the “Swing and Tea Dance” from 2024. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, come enjoy Lindy Hop, Balboa, slow blues, and more to some fantastic live jazz!
