not two trombones
Last Tuesday, you may have heard Kelby mention that tomorrow's performance would be led by two trombones. BUT when he left the stage and checked his phone, he found multiple messages that required juggling one week for another. HATS OFF TO KELBY !!! It really takes a lot of planning and organization to put these wonderful artists in our great listening space. The long and the short is that as part of our Young Artist Series which aims to foster continued development of the art form, through the traditions of one-on-one mentorship and support --we will be hosting and experiencing the Andrew Janusson Trio! Andrew is an incredible guitarist (who we have heard before as part of a larger ensemble) and he will be leading his own trio with Brock Medes on bass and Ethan Olynyk - drums. As always, each Tuesday listening experience in the Sanctuary at James Bay United is unique, and the quality of the musicians is at the highest level. We know you will love the spirit and mastery of these young artists. |
