The lives of our musicians (like all of us really) are fluid and sometimes we have to change an advertised program based on circumstances outside of our control. Happily, with the depth of musicianship in the Victoria area who understand what Tuesday Night Jazz at the Church is all about we are able to announce the return of Tom Vickery to our Tuesday jazz sanctuary this week. 

Pianist Tom Vickery, originally from Nova Scotia, arrived in Victoria in 1985 as Bandmaster at Royal Roads Military College. He played for many years in the Bengal Lounge in the Empress Hotel and continues to play with various groups as well as at Hermann's Jazz club with his trio. Tom is in his 39th year playing and running the jam sessions at that club.
