Stage UpgradeThe Chancel (church-speak), Dais (military/public-speaking), Stage (performing arts) has been completely transformed in an upgrade that will benefit everyone who uses this very special space. The whole area feels more spacious and allows needed flexibility for events in the Sanctuary. The Sunday congregation has come up with over $8,000 in donations to fund the bulk of this project and now we are asking our Tuesday Night Jazz followers to help with the cost of the flooring. It is our hope that in the next week we can ask you (over 450 Tuesday Night Jazz faithful) to commit to $3,000. We think that if we all contribute what we are able, we can hit that target this week. Remember that when you make a contribution to this renovation, you will receive a receipt to help with your taxes. AND you can divide your contribution into smaller monthly instalments when you use our secure Canada Helps portal.
NB: when you use the Canada Helps Portal there is a place for you to add a note to us. You could say things like: (I will make a montly donation of $xx for 6 months toward the renovation) or (this is a one-time donation toward the renovation) or anything else you want to tell us.
