Tuesday Night Jazz at the Church proudly presents the Owen Chow Quartet

As part of our ongoing Young Artist Series we are thrilled to invite back to the stage the wonderful quartet led by trumpeter Owen Chow!

Victoria native, trumpet player and band leader Owen Chow has spent the last four years studying at the prestigious jazz program at McGill University and is home for a summer break. He's assembled four of the city's finest young musicians including drummer Miles Fuller, pianist Zack Santella and bassist Phil Albert.

Luke Sandford has been playing piano and singing in cities across North America and Europe for the past four decades. Luke grew up in Duncan and attended UVic in the early 1980s, so this very special concert is a “coming home” after many years away! 

Luke’s dynamic performances draw on a wide range of musical and cultural influences, including well-known jazz standards, classic rock and Broadway show tunes. You are invited to join us in the wonderful acoustic space of James Bay United Church for this unique celebration of musical diversity.
