Regional Gathering Highlights

A week from now Prince George will be buzzing with people of the United Church from across the province and Yukon Territory for the Annual General Meeting of the Pacific Mountain Region.  Colleen Nichol is going as our lay rep.  Pat Callen who lives part-time in Prince George is meeting us at the airport and joining us for “the opening ceremonies.”

The meeting already holds some known highlights:

... the first in-person gathering of this sort in 3 years!

• we’ll celebrate becoming and Affirming Region
• Michael Blair, the General Secretary of the United Church will be our guest and preacher on Sunday morning.  Watch for the link next week to join that service.
• we’ll have 4 sessions with Guest speaker Jeff Chu (writer, reporter, preacher and would-be farmer) CHECK THIS OUT to get a sense of why time with Jeff will be rich indeed.
