Hot on the heels of his latest release as a leader, pianist Ray Gallon is at the top of his game and has earned a place among the top tier of New York City jazz pianists! Ray's most recent trio recording features original compositions and fresh arrangements of standards with an all-star trio featuring legendary bassist Ron Carter and the incredible drummer Lewis Nash on Cellar Live records.

As part of our programming of Tuesday Night Jazz, we are excited to host Ray for a very special Masterclass at 5pm. Join veteran NYC pianist and educator Ray Gallon for a masterclass on the fine art of jazz piano!

Join us on Sunday, June 9th, after coffee time, for some sweet and savoury snacks, community-building chat, and some tweaking of the beautiful painted doors from last year. The doors worked hard in last year’s parade, dancing down the streets of Victoria, helping viewers know who we are and what we are about at James Bay United. Opening Doors to God’s Love, declaring our inclusivity across the board to everyone. Now the doors need just a bit of tidying, handles strengthened, and a few other bits.
