This Tuesday, Karel will be performing imaginative reinterpretations of Paul Simon classics orchestrated for piano, bass and drums! Singer songwriter Paul Simon was the soundtrack to more than one North American generation and it turns out, a major inspiration to a couple of generations of jazz musicians! The music is rich in melody, rhythm and drama, and lends itself to creative reinterpretation. Karel will be joined by long time collaborator Joey Smith (bass) and Kelby MacNayr (drums).
