Kelby MacNayr's Tiny Rhythm Kings celebrates music from the time of Counts, Dukes and Kings - Count Basie, Duke Ellington & Nat King Cole and MORE! 

This powerhouse trio invites you to sit back and relax to the swing, sass and soul of classic jazz!

Featuring the swinging and soulful drums and vocals of Kelby MacNayr, the outrageously groovy Hammond B3 organ of Dr. Tony Genge and the masterful and understated guitar of Andrew Janusson, this group is a tour-de-force of swing!

People connected with James Bay United are offering an amazing array of musical opportunities in the next 10 days. Please support them with your attendance!

Friday, April 21st (7:30pm): Handel Chandos Anthems (tickets) at St. John the Divine
James Bay United music director, Jennifer Turner writes: "I will be singing some glorious and uplifting music in concert this Friday with Victoria Baroque alongside seven other wonderful singers and many of the top early music instrumentalists in this part of the world! The program includes two Handel anthems and a Purcell anthem, which all involve a combination of choral movements, solos, and small ensembles."

Thursday, April 27th (7pm): Sophia Ammann plays Leonard Cohen (tickets) at James Bay United

From a very young age, Leonard Cohen’s songs have given Sophia Ammann a sense of home. In her career as a singer and songwriter Cohen’s work has always been a great inspiration. Today she offers you her interpretation of some of her favorite Cohen songs as well as a premiere of her solo debut work. 

Friday, April 28th (7pm): Choral Evolution presents Intervals (tickets) at Oak Bay United 
Gordon Miller leads this Sooke-based community choir.
