As the final concert in our Young Artist Series, we welcome saxophonist, bandleader and composer Rowan Farintosh who brings together a quartet of some of the city’s finest young musicians exploring original music, jazz standards and new arrangements.

Join us for a wonderful night of music celebrating some of our young artists in the time-honoured tradition of mentorship through performance in the intimate and beautiful acoustic sanctuary at James Bay United Church!

The Arts Ministry of James Bay United Church cordially invites you to join us Saturday afternoons beginning September 9, 2023 in the lower hall for a social time to build and celebrate community and the arts!

Join us for a fun filled afternoon of live swing music with dancing and snacks.

Everyone is welcome AND no dance experience is required!

Feel free to tap your toes and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, or get out on the dance floor, or dust off an old saxophone from the closet and sit in with the band on the second set.

Admission by donation. ($5-20 suggested but all are welcome!)
