Laura Brandes, Daniel Brandes, and Alex Jang will perform Dutch composer Antoine Beuger’s after the middle a silence follows—an elegy (dwelling quietly at the edge). Over the course of this hour-long piece, a singing, speaking, writing, playing soloist presents a collection of text fragments exploring human vulnerability and our connectedness to others. This concert will offer a quiet and meditative place to linger in the post-Friday, not yet Sunday mystery of Holy Saturday.

Here is the background to this piece.
