Leave a Prayer … Take a PrayerPastoral Care Team Update Throughout the season of Lent — when PRAYER seems to take on an extra special dimension — you will find a Prayer Basket placed on the table at our prayer station. Here you are invited to drop in any prayer requests … AND, if you wish, retrieve a prayer request that someone else has entrusted to this sacred space so that you might uphold that person throughout the coming days. In this way, we can nurture our care for one another — both within and beyond our faith community. If you are unable to come to church in person but would like to add a prayer request, please send that to pastoralcare@jamesbayunited.com and we will make sure your prayer makes it into the basket. Blessings from your Pastoral Care Team For more infomation visit:

Treasurer’s Weekly Update — February 27, 2026What Gordon Unlocked This Week General Revenues: Through our envelopes, Pre-Authorized Remittances, online giving platforms, our collection plate on Sunday morning and cheques dropped in mail from time to time, we collect “unrestricted revenue”. That is to say, money that can be used for the general operation of the church (inclusive of any or all its ministries) as the board deems appropriate. These monies are apart from our Thrift Shop Ministry and apart from monies that come in with a designation or restrictions — our Refugee Funds are a good example of that. Last year we took in +/- $134,879.547 in this category of income >> For more infomation visit: http://jamesbayunited.com/news/treasurer-s-weekly-update-february-27-2026
