– What does it mean to decolonize Canada?
– Why do we need to know the truth of injustices faced by Indigenous Peoples?
– Why should everyone take part in Truth and Reconciliation & justice?

Join the James Bay community for the second annual Jane’s Walk in James Bay — a weekend of exploration, connection, and discovery. We especially recommend one of the walks led by our own, incomparable Candis Elliott!

Let’s meet at James Bay United Church on Saturday, May 2, at 11:45 am — and head out together.

This is a hands-on evening for anyone who wants to get better at bringing people together (whether that’s in your building, your block, or your broader community). You’ll pick up practical tools, connect with other community builders over a shared meal, and leave with a concrete plan for taking action during Loneliness Awareness Week and beyond.
