The Swing Rhythm Kings w/Tony GengeSunday, June 28, 2:00–3:30 pm The Sunday Jazz Matinee at James Bay United Church presents the Swing Rhythm Kings featuring organist Dr. Tony Genge. The swinging sounds of Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Louis Armstrong come to life with this jazz supergroup — an all-star, intergenerational jazz quartet. Drummer and vocalist Kelby MacNayr partners with longtime musical collaborator Dr. Tony Genge and young virtuosos — trumpeter Owen Chow and tenor saxophonist Cole Ashley — for a swinging afternoon of jazz classics. Admission by donation ($20 suggested). Everyone is welcome, regardless of their ability to contribute.
