Please note that the Sunday Service begins at 10:30. You are warmly invited to gather from 10:15 for a time of musical reflection — or listening to and singing along with the Worship Choir.

In today’s passage from the Gospel of John, we meet a man who has lived his whole life in darkness. Yet the story reveals something surprising: those who seem to see clearly may actually be blind, while the one who was blind begins to see not only the world — but also who Jesus truly is.

At first glance it seems like a story about a miracle — about someone who could not see and suddenly could. But as the story unfolds, we realize it is about much more than eyesight. It is about learning to see differently. It is about how God’s light enters places of darkness, and how sometimes those who believe they see clearly may be the ones who are missing what God is doing.

_________________________________

Our worship each Sunday is intended to be a collective experience, a communal practice. We might step into whatever is our sanctuary, each one of us as individuals, and yet as we assemble, from wherever we are, we become a people, drawn together through song and prayer, through word and ritual, and through the Spirit who breathes through it all, through us all. One and the same Spirit uniting us breathing us into life!
