Please note that our Sunday Service begins at 10:30. You are warmly invited to gather with us from 10:15 am, in our Sanctuary or online, for a time of musical reflection.

This Sunday we begin a four-week series looking at the Prayer Jesus prayed (aka The Lord's Prayer). We start by considering the nature of God and the relationship between God and us. Specifically we consider the notion of belonging: yes, we belong to God, but what about God belonging to us? What are the implications of the possessive pronoun, "our"? And, while we're at it, what's up with the "Father" part that we in the United Church seldom say these days?

Presiding: Rev. Greg Powell
Music: Jennifer Turner
Tech Team: Nathan McDormand, Jamie Waters, Alan Thurston
Scripture Reading: Matthew 6:5-13
Read by: Milt Papageorge
Reflection: Rev. Greg Powell

Our worship each Sunday is intended to be a collective experience, a communal practice. We might step into whatever is our sanctuary, each one of us as individuals, and yet as we assemble, from wherever we are, we become a people, drawn together through song and prayer, through word and ritual, and through the Spirit who breathes through it all, through us all. One and the same Spirit uniting us breathing us into life!
