Tuesday Night Jazz at the Church Presents the Stella White Quartet!

Join us for an evening of unforgettable, swinging jazz, featuring Victoria's own returning young songstress of jazz, Stella White.

Vocalist Stella White is one of the finest singers of her generation, having grown up in Victoria's vibrant music community and as an early participant in our own Swing & Tea musical offerings. Stella is a brilliant young artist, coming into her own as a compelling new voice on the jazz scene.

Joining her are the brilliant Nanaimo-based guitarist Andrew Janusson, renowned bassist Louis Rudner, and stellar pianist Ashley Wey.

Stella White is an 18-year-old DownBeat Award-winning vocalist currently pursuing her Bachelor of Jazz Performance at the Schulich School of Music, McGill University. She is a versatile and engaging jazz, soul, and R&B vocalist who studies with McGill legends Camille Thurman and Ranee Lee. Stella is passionate about authenticity and connecting with others through music. She offers soulful interpretations of classic jazz standards alongside works by today's leading jazz artists. She aims to bring new life to the music she performs while sharing her love of jazz with every audience. Stella performs regularly in both Victoria and Montreal.

Admission by donation ($20 suggested), but everyone is welcome regardless of their ability to contribute.
