The Great American Songbook Trio features three of the West Coast’s finest musicians coming together to celebrate the infinite possibilities of lyric, melody, and harmony found in the Great American Songbook.
Featuring legendary performers Louise Rose, Joey Smith, and Kelby MacNayr, the trio celebrates the joy of making and sharing music in community.
Vocalist and pianist Louise Rose is a living national treasure. A student of Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson, and Leonard Bernstein, Ms. Rose has also performed with legendary artists including Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Brown, and countless others.
Bassist, guitarist, and arranger Joey Smith rose to prominence touring the world with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and has performed with many of the West Coast’s finest musicians.
Drummer and vocalist Kelby MacNayr has performed across North America at major festivals and concert halls with some of the most respected performers in jazz and world music.
This is a very special seasonal concert and sing-along—an evening of music, warmth, and shared joy.
