Hungarian-born pianist Attila Fias has been a leading force in Canadian jazz for over two decades!
A virtuoso pianist recognized for his multi-genre capabilities, Attila performs in classical, jazz, fusion, Brazilian styles, and the music of his native Hungary. His performances showcase a rich and diverse world of piano artistry.
In this special presentation, Attila teams up with longtime musical collaborators to bring his imaginative arrangements of contemporary pop music to life in a jazz setting!
Featuring renowned bassist Louis Rudner, drummer Kelby MacNayr, and, making his Tuesday Night Jazz debut, award-winning guitarist and bandleader Wes Carroll!
With numerous recordings as a leader in groups ranging from small ensembles to big bands, as well as countless collaborations as a sideman, Attila Fias continues to captivate audiences with his rhythmic brilliance and inventive arrangements.
