Join us for an unforgettable evening of jazz with Kelby MacNayr’s Tiny Rhythm Kings! This powerhouse trio brings you music from the golden age of jazz, featuring the timeless tunes of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, and Nat King Cole. Sit back and relax as you enjoy the swing, sass, and soul of classic jazz.

Featuring:

  • Andrew Janusson on guitar, known for his masterful and understated style.
  • Dr. Tony Genge on the Hammond B3 organ, delivering outrageously swinging performances.
  • Kelby MacNayr on drums and vocals, adding soulful rhythms and melodies.

Admission is by donation, with a suggested contribution of $20. However, everyone is welcome, regardless of contribution.

About the Musicians
Kelby MacNayr
Drummer and vocalist Kelby MacNayr has toured North America, collaborating with top jazz and world music artists, including Grammy award-winning bassist John Clayton, Terrell Stafford, Renée Marie, Larry Fuller, and Canadian jazz icons like Ingrid Jensen, Ian McDougall, and Hugh Fraser.

Andrew Janusson
A sought-after guitarist, Andrew Janusson leads and collaborates on numerous projects across the West Coast and maintains a busy performing schedule on Vancouver Island.

Dr. Tony Genge
A fixture in the Canadian jazz scene for over 40 years, Tony Genge has taught at Saint Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia and has performed with jazz luminaries such as David "Fathead" Newman, Jeff Hamilton, John Scofield, and Roberta Gambarini.
