The Blue Note Repertory All-Stars play the music of Horace Silver!

Victoria’s Blue Note Repertory All-Stars is a band of some of the West Coast’s finest jazz musicians who come together to celebrate the timeless sounds of the Blue Note era in jazz!

Tuesday, October 12 at 7 PM

Featuring:

Miguelito Valdes - trumpet
Roy Styffe - sax
Tony Genge - piano

Some of the most soulful, sassy and uplifting music was created and captured in collaboration with Blue Note Record label and others which sought to capture the spirit of the music above all else.

Music that will get your toes tapping, inspire and uplift your spirit!

Drawing on the blues, gospel music and influences swing and bebop, this music is the perfectly crafted vehicle which represents the club jazz of the 1950s and 60s.

Please join us as we celebrate the prolific and influential composer Horace Silver!
