Urgent Call to Action

Urgent Call to Action

Help Protect the Siraji Family

The Siraji family—Afghan refugees currently sheltering in Islamabad—are facing immediate danger. James Bay United Church is part of a sponsorship group working to bring them safely to Canada, but delays in the final steps of the process, combined with alarming new government edicts in Pakistan, have put their safety at serious risk.

We are launching a letter-writing campaign to help move their case forward.

Here’s what you can do:
• Personalize and send the template letter
• Contact key federal leaders using the list provided
• Follow the step-by-step guide to make your voice heard

Your action today can help protect a vulnerable family and bring them into the safety of our community.
