God's Love, engendering Hope and Joy in everything we are about July is full of incredible ways for people to gather. To witness Love, to receive Love, indeed to be Love for one another. Love in our church community, Love in the way we walk and the tasks we are about and Love in the world. Experience this July in the life of James Bay United Church, to breathe in the fragrance of summer, photo credit: (c) John Schoenwalter |

July Sunday MORNINGS10:15 am as usual Rev. Bev Tracey (with Gordon Miller at the piano) will be presiding at our regular Sunday morning services starting at our regular time ... That's not to say there will be nothing irregular about the services under their leadership, but if you like to come on Sunday mornings, you will find it highly recognizable as church. |
PRIDE Sunday July 7th
The Pride Parade is on Sunday, July 7 and starts at 11:00. (we wont kick off till much later as we are further back in the line) Members of James Bay United will join with other United Churches as soon as we are able and march with our JBUC flags behind the United Church's Love is Love is Love banner.
Gather near the centenial square fountain, we are told, but Pride Sundays can sometimes be a scramble. Just Look for the Love Is Love banner. We are often just behind or near the "Our Place Society" van and marchers.
Watching the parade is also a great way to show your support for the LGBTQ+ community.
