Welcome to JBUC Open House Week 2026!

After the wonderful success of last year’s Great Big Open House, we’re expanding the celebration! This year, our neighbours can enjoy some of JBUC’s most popular programs and activities, discover what happens here beyond Sunday services — and have plenty of fun along the way.

Open House Week begins with:

Friday, September 18, 7:00 pm
Community Concert featuring West Coast indie-folk group West My Friend

Saturday, September 19, 11:00 am–2:00 pm
Parking Lot Party with live music, swing dancing, games, face painting, food, Healing Pathway soaking prayer, and more!

Saturday, September 19, 7:00 pm
Evening Swing Dance

Sunday, September 20, 12:00–1:00 pm
Singing in Harmony — an open rehearsal with our Sunday Worship Choir, leading up to the September 27 service

More activities and open workshops will follow throughout the week, giving everyone an opportunity to try programs that normally require registration or a fee.
