Friends, Louise Rose is inviting you to participate in a very special event this Sunday afternoon:

"Give yourself an early or belated birthday, anniversary or whatever you want gift. Be ready to be embraced, thrilled, filled, inspired and moved by the extraordinary simplicity of 5 people making music together ... live.

Jamie Waters, sound engineer, is the 5th member of the ensemble. His role is to simply capture the music that will be being shared. A once in a lifetime experience. You want to be there, and share it with others.

See you Sunday."

You are invited to be part of a live recording at the church. The American Songbook Trio, with Kelby MacNayr on drums and Joey Smith on bass, will be backing Washington State vocalist Carol Burton as we capture the event, with you as the live studio audience. This is a unique intimate opportunity for us as a jazz community and we hope you will plan to attend.

Tuesday Night Jazz at the Church Presents the Jeremy Price/Bill McBirnie Quintet: Celebrating the Music of Horace Silver!

Celebrated Toronto flutist Bill McBirnie joins forces with Vancouver flutist Jeremy Price for an exciting evening celebrating the music of legendary jazz composer Horace Silver.

For this special performance, Silver's timeless music will be reimagined for two outstanding jazz flutists, backed by an all-star rhythm section featuring Hungarian-born virtuoso pianist Attila Fias, Vancouver bassist Dan Howard, and extraordinary Nanaimo-based drummer Graham Villette.
