Next steps in Decolonization / ReconcilAction

For all who wish to go deeper in our understanding and action in Indigenous relations, consider this your invitation to a next step.

Denise Nadeau will once again facilitate our time together, on Tuesday July 27, 4-5:30 via zoom.  We will begin with viewing a short video about Land Back, followed by conversation.

This link What Is Land Back? - David Suzuki Foundation takes you to a series of 3 short (12 minute) videos, Past, Present and Future. Please view Past and Present in advance of our time together to begin to familiarize yourself with the meaning of Land Back.

We’ll conclude our time with a brief look ahead to a fun and engaging way of attending to the TRC Calls to Action in August for a public event in September.

As we hear the call to grow the network of informed and engaged people, consider who else in your circle of friends might you invite to join us for the conversation.  Please email Karen Dickey kdickey@shaw.ca to indicate your interest and watch for the zoom link on July 27.

If you missed the incredible vocalist Sara Marreiros celebrating the sounds of summer with the unforgettable rhythms and melodies of Brazilian bossa nova featuring special guest pianist Pablo Cardenas, bassist Peter Dowse and drummer Kelby MacNayr. FEAR NOT!

We have saved the whole show for you to check out on YOUR YouTube Channel.

The audio is wonderful, so settle in with a good pair of headphones / earbuds / speakers and enjoy.
