WOW !!!JBUC Thrift Shop Congratulations and THANKS It took a lot of planning and hard work and good humour. Our Thrift Shop team of amazing volunteers led by Franklyn Roy and Judy Langford have made the transition back to outdoor sales. (our pre-Covid norm) It creates a fun festive streetside feel for the neighbourhood. Well done everyone! And a special thank you to our friend and caretaker Dritan Pashaj for putting the final 'spit and polish' on the lower hall. |

Sunday ServiceIn-Person and Live Streamed at 10:15 am - Sunday, August 29, 2021 Thanks so very much to Colleen, leading a wonderful team presiding over our August Services. They have been nothing short of amazing and inspirational. This week Christine Chepyha and Joan Ryan were heard again rehearsing in the Sanctuary on Friday, so we know that the music on Sunday will be as rich as ever. Thanks to all the contributers - greeters, tech team, refreshment planners - for preparing our Sunday experience for all us online and in-person. Scripture reading: Luke 6: 20-23 For more infomation visit:

Swampy !a little blues from our friend Daniel Morel ... feeling incredibly grateful for the musicianship and generous spirit of our friend Daniel. We were able to offer Daniel an honourarium for this pop-up concert through funds donated to the Social Justice Ministry at James Bay United. All monies (100%) received through our Social Justice Ministry go directly to people in need in our neighbourhood. We are part of a number of initiatives that include advocacy and support for the underserved in our neighbourhood, food equity, and reconciliation and indigenous justice. If you feel called to support this work in James Bay, simply include the words: 'Social Justice Ministry' in your on-line donation. https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/36818 For more infomation visit:
