Flowers for Easter Morning
The worship team encourages you to bring a bouquet of fresh cut flowers on Easter Sunday. It might be a gesture of gratitude for a loved one who has died, or in celebration of some event in your life or the life of the world that makes your heart sing. Either bring them in a vase ready to be placed in the sanctuary or know that there are plenty of vases available at the church. Please note: Lilies, while lovely to look at are problematic to many in our gathering ... it’s a matter of being able to breathe! |

Search Team Update
Your search team members - Martin Stewart, Colleen Nichol, Owen McCooey, Karen Halliday and Colleen Adair (Chair) - have completed their training with our liaison at Pacific Mountain Regional Council. We have spent time considering how our biases are shaped by our power in society and in our church as well as our calling to reflect God’s radically inclusive love and justice. We have reviewed how human rights must be upheld throughout the pastoral relations process, and have reviewed how we will use the United Church’s online pastoral relations tool, ChurchHub, to search for potential matches for a new pastoral relationship. Pray for us as we discern among the ministry personnel profiles and our own community of faith profile. |
