Born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, and based in Canada for over four decades, pianist Louise Rose has led a storied career in association with the most respected and influential artists in jazz — from Duke Ellington to Oscar Peterson, to Aretha Franklin and Ella Fitzgerald! Bassist Joey Smith has earned a reputation as one of the West Coast’s most respected bassists, admired for his meticulous taste, musicianship, encyclopedic knowledge of the jazz canon, and impeccable professionalism. Drummer and vocalist Kelby MacNayr has shared the stage with jazz luminaries at home and abroad, always bringing his sense of joy, taste, and musicianship to the stage in service of the music and the magic.
