Lloyd Arntzen & FriendsMarch 3, 7:00–8:30 pm, Sanctuary Clarinettist, composer, and vocalist Lloyd Arntzen has been bringing the sound of traditional jazz to audiences across Canada’s West Coast for over 60 years! With a storied career as a performer, composer, and sideman, Lloyd even welcomed Louis Armstrong to Vancouver in 1961. He has long been a favourite of traditional jazz fans and Lindy Hoppers alike around the world. In this special presentation, Lloyd brings together his long-standing musical friends — collaborators of over 40 years. Featuring Victoria’s legendary “Godfather of Jazz”, piano sensation Tommy Vickery; acclaimed clarinettist and saxophonist Al Pease; young stalwart bassist Ryan Tandy; and veteran drummer Dave Emery. photo credit: Evan Arntzen For more infomation visit: http://jamesbayunited.com/events/tuesday-night-jazz-at-the-church-presents--367/2026-03-03
