Sunday WorshipMarch 15, 10:30–11:30 am In today’s passage from the Gospel of John, we meet a man who has lived his whole life in darkness. Yet the story reveals something surprising: those who seem to see clearly may actually be blind, while the one who was blind begins to see not only the world — but also who Jesus truly is. At first glance it seems like a story about a miracle — about someone who could not see and suddenly could. But as the story unfolds, we realize it is about much more than eyesight. It is about learning to see differently. It is about how God’s light enters places of darkness, and how sometimes those who believe they see clearly may be the ones who are missing what God is doing. Presiding: Colleen Nichol Please note that our Sunday Service begins at 10:30. You are warmly invited to gather from 10:15 for a time of musical reflection. Feeling under the weather? Lenten Litany of Fasting and FeastingWeeks 1–4 Set aside some time to read these lines in a contemplative manner. Pay attention to which word or phrase jumps out at you. Let that word or phrase work within you throughout the day. Over the past three weeks, members of our congregation and visitors received these verses as handouts during our Sunday services. We saw that they resonated well, so we've decided to provide them now for our ENews and website readers. Each week we offer a new set of lines from this poem. You might post this somewhere in your home, reading it at different times to see what else emerges for you during the week. A Blast from the PastOUR reflection As Greg isn’t with us this weekend (he’s actually enjoying a Vancouver Canucks game with his family during his well-deserved holiday!), let’s take a moment to remember how he looked… back last autumn, before he decided to part ways with his famous moustache. (Thanks to Kam for the picture!) Should we start a poll asking him to bring it back? For more infomation visit: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PSCMj27Fk6PIG0qF-a-pcxN_dUluRmEU/view?usp=sharing
