The Children Remembered

from the United Church of Canada

Here are links to the UCC website on the history of the United Church’s Indian Residential Schools. This project was initiated by the United Church’s Steering Committee on Residential Schools, comprised of Survivors from different residential schools across Canada and of United Church leaders and staff. Here you will find photographs from the collections in our national archives in Toronto, as well as photos from the Pacific Mountain Regional Council Archives in British Columbia.

How Then Shall I Live

How Then Shall I Live

by Linnea Good

This week's reflection focuses on the spiritual practice of 'getting lost'. Not only the Amazing Grace kind -- 'I once was lost but now am found' -- but more the understanding of how going down paths unintended, uncharted, unwelcomed, can equip us with unexpected insights, empathy and understanding.  All of our music this week has been chosen to help us with this practice of 'getting lost'

Our final hymn is Linnea Good's song: How Then Shall I Live. Have a listen, so you can sing with others on Sunday.
