While there continues to be no Public Health Orders mandating restrictions for worship services, we are aware that there are those among us most vulnerable to the virus and its variants.  Therefore ... 

Our worship each Sunday is intended to be a collective experience, a communal practice.

We might step into whatever is our sanctuary, each one of us as individuals, and yet as we assemble, from wherever we are, we become a people, drawn together through song and prayer, through word and ritual, and through the Spirit who breathes through it all, through us all.

One and the same Spirit uniting us breathing us into life!

What a start we have made throughout July and August!  Under the passionate leadership of Gordon Miller and Christine Chepyha, we have had an opportunity to experience what it is like for our worship to be supported and enhanced, with some regularity, by a range of talented Victoria musicians.

Kelby's choice of 'Victoria's Blue Note Repertory Allstars' band for our return to weekly jazz at the church is ideal. We will see and hear friends we know and love from our jazz family playing from the classic jazz repertoire of the 50's and 60's.

Many many thanks to our deconstruction crew who took down our old shed and prepared a space for our new steel Thrift Shop container that arrives on September 15th. NB: All of the good quality wood from the old shed has been saved for repurposing.

This Jann Arden collaboration has been getting a lot of social media replay attention this week. If you haven't seen it already, it is a heartwarming message and timely for 'back to school' or 'back to church' or back to whatever. :-)
