Sunday WorshipThe Season of Creation Sunday, September 10th: 10:15am In Person and LiveStreamed Creation Spirituality rejoices in, and courageously honours the rich diversity within the Cosmos. That diversity is expressed in every thing, and every individual and embodies multiple cultures, religions, and ancestral traditions. Creation is full of melody, harmony and adaptation. Creation-themed Hymn Sing
There are many wonderful hymns celebrating creation in our books that we don’t get to sing very often. On Sunday October 1st, we will be doing a Hymn Sing during the pre-service time (10:15am – 10:30am). Everyone is invited to submit their favourite Creation themed hymns to Jennifer Turner by Sunday September 24th. You can tell her in-person on a Sunday morning or by email to j.turner@queensu.ca. |

A Note from Marg Lunam
Marg Lunam continues to be incredibly grateful to JBUC for all the expressions of love and support. And that so many people from hers and Doug’s faith community would make their way to Doug’s service in August has meant so much, realizing it took some doing to arrange for transport. Marg is aware that not everyone received the card with photos that were handed out at the service, beautifully produced by Vanya. If you would like to have one, they will be available at the church on Sunday. |
