MOVIE: THE WHALE
This is the multi-award surprise of this last season, that knocked 'Elvis' out of the running.

Brendan Fraser gives a truly-awesome, mesmerizing performance as a dying very-obese man [blood-pressure off the charts] that refuses to go to the hospital, Both Brendan & the movie won pretty-well all the categories in the 9 major film-festivals of 2022-- Academy-Awards, Screen-Actors'Guild, BAFTA [British], Critic Circle Awards.
This is a double-hankie movie that somehow leaves you feeling good as you leave the showing.

Besides sweeping in the 2 major categories, the movie also won Academy Awards in 3 other categories: for Hong Chau (Best Supporting Actress), for her acerbic performance as his nurse who wants to keep everyone else away, while she's the martyr; Sadie Sink ('best-new-actor' from Screen Actor's Guild) as his 17-year-old daughter. Brendan, not having seen her since she was 8 years' old, is now trying to reconcile with her-- which means reconciling with his ex-wife, whom he abruptly left for a much younger lover; and third category, for the remarkable make-up;

No one puts a foot wrong, in this acting ensemble.

Do grab something people can eat, and put it on your list!
