Activities for 2023
The documents “Ministry and Personnel Committees: Policy, Procedures, Practice” and “Resources for Ministry and Personal Committee” were released by the United Church in January, 2019. Current M&P Committee members had an opportunity to review this document. We look forward to a more in-depth learning through the United Church M&P online training and accessing other resources that will strengthen our skills and knowledge in this area.
M&P team membership comprises of Kim Keinath, Sarah Hovey, and André Fontaine.
Much effort will be: to do a monthly check-in with each employee and contractor, address personnel employment agreements, performance reviews, as well as overseeing contracts and conditions of employment.
The M&P Committee is available to hear any concerns brought forward by members of the congregation. Such information is confidential, to be shared only with other M&P Committee members. All communication is welcome.
