Each fall, we pause to reflect on all that God has done through our shared ministry—and to look ahead with faith to the year to come. Our annual Fall Pledge Campaign is a time to prayerfully consider how each of us can contribute to the life and mission of James Bay United Church.
This isn’t just about meeting a budget. It’s about sustaining the spirit of generosity and connection that shapes everything we do—our worship, outreach, music, hospitality, and care for one another. When we make a pledge, we help ensure that this ministry continues to thrive and grow, touching lives both within and beyond our walls.
This year’s campaign theme, Building Bridges, reminds us that together we can span divides, strengthen community, and open pathways of hope.
We’re launching this year’s Fall Pledge Campaign with a shared vision of faith and hope.
Our primary goal is for everyone in our Sunday congregation to complete and return a pledge card—either in person or online—sharing their intended giving for 2026.
Our financial goal is to raise $115,500 in pledged offerings for 2026.
This three-Sunday campaign runs from October 26 to November 9. On our own, it might feel like a stretch. But together, it’s possible. With shared faith, generosity, and God’s guidance, we can reach it.
This year, instead of asking for immediate donations, we’re asking for pledges—a commitment to what you plan to give in the coming year.
Why pledges? Because knowing what giving we can count on allows us to:

Build a budget that reflects our shared faith and vision
In the past, we’ve estimated giving and managed well, but this year, we’re stepping forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Every pledge matters. Whether you’re able to give $25/month, $1,000/month, or anything in between, your commitment helps sustain our ministries and extend our reach into the community.
Each pledge—no matter the amount—is an expression of trust in God’s abundance and love.
