ADVENTuring Alongside Angels
Sunshine, Stillness, Solitude, and Sharing are a few words that come to mind while attending the ADVENTure with Angels retreat at Mary Lake Nature Sanctuary on Monday December 3, 2018. Our group was originally set for thirteen however three people had to bow out due to illness and we all missed having them there. So we were a quaint group of ten.
Our leaders, Rev. Karen Dickey and Cheryl McPherson, provided our group with inspiration, guidance, inclusiveness and a better understanding of the angels among us. Thanks to Beverley Tracey for organizing the meals, abundant snacks and for the meal preparation. There was plenty of tea and coffee, sweet treats, a delicious lunch and a fabulous supper.
We left the retreat with well fed bodies, minds and souls. It was with great gratitude that we were able to experience the healing powers of our retreat to Mary Lake.

- The day was such an enriching experience on so many levels.
- I loved the setting. What a special place! I enjoyed chatting with friends as we were walking along the trails.
- I enjoyed how welcome I felt and the nature, as well as the focus on
gratitude and how the messages we receive lead us to a more grateful
- Individual journals for everyone, art supplies, introduction to the pantoum form for writing...inspired sharing!
