As the needs of our faith community change and grow, so does the staffing model we use to equip the church to thrive. For the past few years, Zunaira Mustaqeem worked on our behalf from Vancouver as a contractor in the role of Communications Coordinator. We are grateful to her for the fine services that she provided James Bay United.

At our most recent board meeting it was decided that we needed to bring the role of Communications Coordinator ‘in-house’ and combine it with the role of Donor Relations creating a part-time on-site role of Communications & Community Relations. We are thrilled to announce that Natalia Zhuravlova was offered and has accepted this new position.

Natalia comes to us with first-hand working knowledge of this vibrant community. As a volunteer, she has taken on many duties and tasks in several ministries and has stepped into paid positions to help out when needed, proving herself more than capable in a variety of diverse roles.

Natalia’s background as a senior communications lead of a major international tech company makes her ideal to help lead our communications team here.

Natalia will be working with the leadership at James Bay United to craft our messages, manage our member relations and reach out beyond our doors. Please join us in welcoming her to the team.
