We – James Bay United – are walking in the Victoria Pride Parade on Sunday!!

We would love to have you join us on Sunday at Chatham Street, between Douglas and Government by 10:30am.  And if you are going to regular Sunday service, then please consider meeting us afterwards along the way. Join us in the parade or stand along the route and cheer us on.

Get your Pride on and let’s tell Victoria we are here and we are inclusive!!

And if you are wondering why we have a pride parade and why James Bay United Church is walking in the parade it’s because: 

  • People are still attacked because of their sexual orientation or gender identity 
  • 2SLGBTQIA+ rights can never be taken for granted
  • There are fundamentalist Christians in Canada who are working hard to weaken or remove the rights 2SLGBTQIA+ people currently have
