As the Board of James Bay United Church, we believe it's important to pause, reflect, and seek discernment about where our church is being called in the years ahead. Board members will be gathering at Bethlehem Centre near Nanaimo from June 5–7 for a retreat, focused on prayer, discernment, and planning.

The retreat is funded through the church budget; participants will be invited to contribute what they are able toward their own costs.

Before we go, we want to hear from you. On May 24th, right after the service, we're inviting all of you to a congregational conversation over lunch — please see Bev Tracey to sign up so we know how much food to prepare. If you can't join us in person, an online survey with the same questions is available.
