Sunday Worship - Lent 2
Sunday, March 5th: 10:15AM - In-Person and On-Line The threat of snow last weekend had us rearrange our plan. So all being well, this Sunday we will welcome Janice John-Mitchell to speak with us about the significance of Black History/African Heritage Month. As we continue the “conversation” between the artistic expression of Henri Matisse and this week’s Gospel story of Jesus and the woman at the well, we’re invited to take note of the lines that divide and separate us, and lines we are called to cross over. Colour your LentThursday, March 9, 2023 Let contemplation and conversation colour your Lent Think of it as a ‘clearing space’ making room for personal reflection. We’ll gather around questions each week that help us get in touch with what’s bubbling beneath the surface that may well be a key to greater wholeness. There’ll be time for contemplation, for conversation and for putting colourful pen to paper as we take our lead from master colorist Henri Matisse whose work we’ll view as an inspiration for our own self-expression.
