Mary & Sandy White

Mary and Sandy spent most of their lives in Ontario, in the Niagara and Georgian Bay regions — so it came as quite a surprise to find themselves settling in beautiful Victoria. Their journey west began in 2019 when both of their sons, quite remarkably, landed jobs in Victoria at the same time. Before long, their sons, daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren had all made homes in James Bay. Naturally, Mary and Sandy followed, eager to be close to family and lend a hand with the grandchildren.

Sandy is a retired insurance broker, and Mary is a retired United Church minister. They are delighted to have discovered a welcoming and vibrant church community in James Bay, where they now feel at home.
