On Christmas Eve, the waiting ends. With Communion and candlelight, we celebrate the arrival of the infant Jesus. Of course, Jesus has been with us all along, and still we have waited patiently for renewal and rebirth. We sing familiar carols and reflect on the significance of the Christmas story.

This worship experience will be wrapped in sacred music as we gather around the Candles of Advent.Christmas Eve is a special time to give thanks, reflect, and take in the story of the birth of one who would bring unimaginable grace and love into the world. We share in Communion and end the service with a candle-lit singing of Silent Night.  Whether you join us in person or online, this service is a chance to reflect on the meaning of Christmas in a spirit of peace and joy.

A Choral offering from 7:45 - 8pm. This is a special Christmas Eve choir made up of the JBUC Worship Choir and members from the community. The choir will sing a selection of choral pieces new and familiar.

The Christmas Eve service will begin at 8pm and will include communion and a candlelight celebration.

Located in the heart of the James Bay neighborhood, our church is grateful to partner with our community in healing, nurturing, and spreading joy through our many activities and programs. We look forward to celebrating this sacred evening with you!
